How To Use Luce
The ritual. Illuminated.
Prepare
Begin with a thoroughly cleansed face and neck. Luce works most effectively on clean skin ~ free of makeup, SPF, and heavy product. A bare, freshly washed face allows the light wavelengths to penetrate without obstruction.
Optional but recommended: apply a thin layer of hyaluronic acid or lightweight serum before your session. Light therapy enhances absorption ~ your skin will drink it in during treatment.
Remove all jewellery. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before beginning. Eye protection is provided ~ wear it for every session without exception.
Set Up
Place Luce on a flat, stable surface ~ a bed, a couch, or a treatment table. Position the dome so the LED panel faces downward over your face and neck comfortably. The arch should sit over your face without contact ~ Luce works at a distance, not against the skin.
Lie down beneath the dome. Adjust its position until the light covers your full face and décolletage evenly.
Luce is designed to be completely hands~free. Once positioned, you do nothing but rest.
Select Your Wavelength
Using the handheld controller, select your wavelength and set your session timer. Choose based on your skin concern ~ refer to The Spectrum guide on the Luce product page for a full breakdown of each wavelength and its benefits.
Quick reference:
- Red ~ collagen, firming, anti-aging
- Blue ~ acne, bacteria, inflammation
- Green ~ pigmentation, brightening, uneven tone
- Yellow ~ lymphatic drainage, dullness, renewal
- Cyan ~ sensitivity, capillaries, calm
- Purple ~ cell regeneration, combination concerns
- White ~ full spectrum, comprehensive treatment
Begin with 10 minutes per session and build to 20 minutes as your skin acclimates.
Treat
Put on your eye protection. Lie back. Let Luce do the work.
There is nothing to adjust, no movement required, and no technique to master. The light works at a cellular level ~ beneath the surface, quietly and consistently ~ for the duration of your session.
Recommended session times by wavelength:
- Red: 15~20 minutes
- Blue: 10~15 minutes
- Green: 10~15 minutes
- Yellow: 15~20 minutes
- Cyan: 10~15 minutes
- Purple: 10~20 minutes
- White: 10~20 minutes
Use 3~5 times per week for best results. Protocols vary by concern ~ refer to Light, Prescribed on the Luce product page for targeted routine guidance.
Follow With
Immediately after your Luce session, your skin is in its most receptive state. The cellular activity triggered by light therapy means absorption is elevated ~ this is the optimal moment to apply your most active skincare.
Recommended post-session routine:
- Vitamin C serum ~ for brightening and antioxidant support
- Hyaluronic acid ~ for deep hydration and plumping
- Peptide serum ~ for collagen support and firmness
- Retinol ~ for advanced anti-aging (evening sessions only)
Apply products immediately after treatment and allow them to absorb fully before moisturising.
Store
Power Luce off using the handheld controller. Wipe the LED panel gently with a soft, dry cloth after each session. Do not use water or cleaning agents directly on the panel. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
For best results
- Always wear eye protection ~ every session, without exception
- Cleanse before every session ~ product residue obstructs the light
- Apply serum before and immediately after for maximum absorption benefit
- Be consistent ~ light therapy is cumulative; results compound over weeks not sessions
- Match your wavelength to your concern ~ refer to The Spectrum guide (below)
- Follow a targeted protocol for specific concerns ~ refer to Light, Prescribed (below)
- Document your progress ~ photograph in the same light, same angle, at week one, four, and eight
Who should not use Luce
Luce is not suitable for use if you are:
- Pregnant or planning for pregnancy
- Diagnosed with a photosensitive condition or taking photosensitising medication
- Undergoing active cancer treatment
- Experiencing active skin infections, open wounds, or inflammation in the treatment area
- Prone to epilepsy or seizures triggered by light
If in doubt, consult your healthcare professional before beginning treatment.
A note on consistency
Light therapy is one of the most studied modalities in aesthetic medicine ~ and its results are unambiguous. But they are not immediate. They are quiet, cumulative, and deeply earned. The skin that emerges after eight consistent weeks of Luce is not the same skin that went under the dome on day one.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
If your device arrives damaged, develops a fault, or isn't what you ordered ~ we'll fix it. No questions, no hassle. Your choice of a free replacement or a full refund.
Email us at hello@sorellestudio.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos or a short video showing the fault or damage
You won't need to return the item. Once we've verified the issue, your replacement ships or your refund processes within 2 ~ 3 business days.
Orders that don't arrive
If your order hasn't arrived within 60 days of dispatch, you're fully covered. We'll reship at no charge or refund you in full ~ your call.
Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5 ~ 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Your consumer rights
Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded ~ including the right to a replacement or refund for a major failure or manufacturing fault.

Processing
Orders are processed within 1 ~ 3 business days of purchase. During high-volume periods ~ launches and the holiday season ~ please allow up to 5 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email immediately after ordering, and a second with your tracking details once your order is on its way.
Delivery
Standard shipping: 10 ~ 18 business days from dispatch.
Delivery times may extend slightly during peak periods (November–January) or due to customs processing, which is outside our control.
Tracking
Every order is tracked. Once dispatched, your tracking link arrives by email ~ follow your parcel every step of the way. Please allow up to 5 business days for tracking to activate after dispatch.
Delayed or missing orders
If your tracking hasn't updated in more than 10 business days, or your order hasn't arrived within the estimated window ~ reach out. Email hello@sorellestudio.com with your order number and we'll investigate immediately. If your order cannot be located, we'll reship it free of charge or refund you in full. Your choice.
Your address
Please double ~ check your shipping address at checkout. Once an order is dispatched we're unable to redirect it, and we can't offer replacements or refunds for orders delivered to an incorrectly entered address.
Spotted an error? Email us within 12 hours of ordering and we'll do everything we can to correct it before dispatch.

Orders shipped within Australia under AUD $1,000 are not typically subject to customs charges. In the rare event a fee applies, it is the responsibility of the customer.
