This is a high-performance retinal booster, and it isn’t for everyone.
We do not recommend this product if your skin is very acne-prone or very sensitive. The combination of 0.1% retinal and A-Shot™ micro-spicules is intensive, and on reactive or breakout-prone skin it can do more harm than good.
Choose the Celimax Vita-A Retinal Shot Tightening Dual Cream instead. It has a gentler 0.05% retinal, paired with a 5% panthenol and azulene relief cream in the same pump, so you get the benefits of retinal with built-in calm.
A NOTE ON PURGING
Retinal speeds up skin cell turnover. If you’re acne-prone or have closed comedones (small, flesh-coloured bumps under the skin), this can bring existing congestion to the surface faster. That’s known as purging.
What purging looks like: small breakouts in the areas where you usually get congestion, which typically settle within four to six weeks as your skin adjusts.
What purging is not: breakouts in new areas, painful or cystic spots, persistent redness, burning or rash. These are signs the product isn’t right for your skin.

RETINAL USAGE GUIDE
Weeks 1 ~ 2 ~ A 2mm drop (0.2g), every other night
Week 3 onwards ~ A 4mm drop (0.4g), every night
Start small. Build slowly. Consistency is what delivers results.
HOW TO USE
Evening use only.
New to Retinal ~ For the first two weeks, use every other night. Apply a small 2mm drop (approx. 0.2g) to targeted areas only.
Daily Use ~ Once your skin has adjusted, from week three, apply a 4mm drop (approx. 0.4g) evenly over the face every evening, avoiding the eye area. Follow with moisturiser.
Power Pairing ~ For maximum results, layer over the Vita-A Retinol Shot Tightening Serum. Only do this once your skin is fully adjusted to retinoids.
If Irritation Occurs ~ Reduce the amount and frequency, and follow with a moisturiser containing soothing ingredients.
The Next Morning ~ Always finish your routine with sunscreen to protect your skin from UV rays.
A slight tingling sensation is normal. Retinal’s natural colour may leave a faint tint, which washes off with your next cleanse.
